📃Summary

Systems aiding in remote surgeries are not rare and are being developed across Canada to increase the accessibility of sterilized surgeries in all communities across Canada. This has been motivated from the struggles of Canadians living in rural areas of the country. These Canadians lack the the privilege of disposable healthcare and need to travel long distances for sterilized surgeries. We have been tasked to design a system for the secure transfer of a surgical tool to an autoclave to be sterilized. The completion of the task featured two components; computing and modelling. The computing aspect of the task focused on writing a set of functions that encompassed the main objective of transferring a container to its correct autoclave. The modelling aspect consisted of designing a sterilization container. The designed had to allow for the facilitation of the sterilization of surgical tools while attaining varying design constraints.
